AllMusic link
Vito's site with a video clip.
I remember reading or hearing Vinnie talk about this guy...IN FACT, as I am watching this video clip, there is a VERY familiar person playing the kit at the end!!!
I wish I could post the whole disc, it's pretty killin' stuff, IMO.

That's interesting, it says Vinnie will be on his upcoming album..
Vito's a killer player. I picked up the 5 after 4 stuff some years ago on the recommendation of the Audiophile guys. Good stuff.

Been waiting for that 5 After 4 CD to come out for a while now...
If you dig further into Almarecords you'll see The Dexters. That band plays every week in a bar called the Orbit Room, nice place. It's owned by Alex Lifeson of Rush, and here's a Funny Clip of Alex.
Also... The site also promotes the band The Boomers, featuring Rick Gratton on drums.

Rick is a MONSTER drummer...underrated, like DiCenso & Rickman...& maybe even a little SCARIER than, dare i say it, DiCenso...or at the least, he's is in his league, 4 shore...4get Neil; when it comes to Canada giving us a hellacious drummer, RG is da [#1] MAN [Randy Cooke is somewhere in there too]

His book is great...but if u can find the vid "Paul DeLong & Rick Gratton Live at PIT" [1-18-91]... c. '94, DeLong & DeShort Of It/with Power Rock Drum Systems Enterprises [Carmine Appice's]... u will be amazed [don't let the words "power rock" or "Carmine Appice" fool you...it is a frightening representation of his drumming prowess]...
...also, check his Rick Licks vid...but 4 unabashed bash-your-brains-in playing, check the 1st vid mentioned...this guy can do Vinnie sh** - in his own way...
PS - Rezza is very good, thx 4 the links & the turn on

I've got that vid. It rocks pretty hard. I have to rip an mp3 of a Montreal Drum fest cd I have with a cool solo by Gratton. he thinks of things no one else would have. There's a little trick he puts in Rick's Lick's that just two 16th's from the HH to the SD that the way he places it is just something I had never heard before. It was really cool and sounds great.
I wonder if he just sits around all day thinking that stuff up.
